Bio

Florida Licensed Interior Designer, NCIDQ Exam prep trainer and Founder of Qpractice http://www.qpractice.com/, the first online training program to help interior designers prepare for the NCIDQ Exam.

I help interior designers pass the NCIDQ Exam the First Time. So why is this important?

About a year ago, I started researching the value that having the NCIDQ Certificate brings to the table for jobs. Especially after one of our members was able to get more than 35% increase in her salary. I already knew that for me, it had not only increased my earning power, but gave me the ability to get interviews and job offers in a down economy.

While it varies from firm to firm, there’s an expectation that if you have more than 3 years of experience, you’re either licensed or moving towards that as a goal for the next year. And to get that license, in most states, this means passing the NCIDQ Exam.

According to Indeed, average salaries for job postings requiring an NCIDQ Certificate are at least 170% higher than average Interior Designer salaries.
